Gardner-Webb University is a coeducational, residential, church-related university on a beautiful campus just outside Shelby in Boiling Springs, North Carolina. The University derives its name from O. Max Gardner, distinguished governor of North Carolina in the 1930's, and his wife, Fay Webb Gardner.
